Clowning Educational Resources

BOOKS

A clown should never stop expanding their skills.  Continuing education is the best way I know of to get new routines and grow your clown from the beginning to the professional levels.  Clowning education includes conventions, seminars, alley meetings, performing with other clowns and reading books on the area to grow.

After browsing my own library and comparing that to the books on AMAZON.COM, I have compiled a series of pages that address topics related to clowning.  Hickory's Clown Alley does receive a small commission for any books you purchase through these links.  Those commissions are used to offset the costs of this website.

Clowning Magic Puppets Juggling Balloons

As valuable as these books are, there is no better way to learn than from attending a regional clown convention. Experts in the field selflessly give of their knowledge and talent because they are devoted to improving the art of clowning. Attend conventions, they are well worth the investment!
