Big Important News!

Sorry Sassy, hate to take you off the homepage - but I had to post a bit of an update. You may have noticed a banner on the top of the page saying that Hickory's Clown Alley will be closing down in June. Nope, wrong! Well, it was right, but now it's wrong. I'd like to thank Hickory for giving me the opportunity to handle the site from this point forward. Who am I? My name is Dan, nickname azzy, clown name's undecided. I've been an IT professional for 8 years, and been doing web developing either as a hobby or professionally for much longer than that. Oh, clowning?! I'm a beginner clown, and still learning - through this process I've come across many great web sites for clowns, but nothing that really completely fit my needs. When I saw that this excellent resource may possibly be shuttered I couldn't let that happen. So what's in store? Currently, I am redesigning the site to give it a fresh look and more interactive features. None of the content of the site will be lost, but it will be moved and organized quite a bit. I hope to have more vendor reviews, a bigger focus on YOUR CLOWN, and a great reference book for both newbies and experienced clowning professionals.

So we've got a lot of excitement coming, but it's going to take some time to get off the ground. I'll be looking for those who can help when the time is appropriate, until then - feel free to browse the site as-is, or say hi over on The Clown-Forum, which is another excellent clowning resource. Talk to you soon sillyfaces!
